Uuesalu
Uuesalu is currently the largest residential construction project near Tallinn, and it comprises semi-detached and terraced houses. In total, 390 homes will be constructed in the area. 82 semi-detached houses and 14 terraced houses have been completed during the first stage of the project. The residential area is located along the Tartu highway, close to downtown Tallinn. Tallinn is within easy reach from Uuesalu – without traffic congestion. One of the most significant merits of the area is its nature. A full-grown pine forest distinguishes Uuesalu from many other newly built residential areas. The homes utilise many solutions that are close to nature: all the houses have timber facing and they are no more than two storeys high. The use of natural materials gives the entire area a uniform appearance.
Ülemiste
The Ülemiste residential area of single-family homes is located south of Lake Ülemiste and one kilometre from the airport. IBE Estonia is carrying out the municipal engineering for the 6.3-hectare residential area as well as the construction of 112 terraced houses and semi-detached houses and 45 low-rise blocks of flats. Most of the homes are already occupied.
Patika
IBE Estonia also owns a 19-hectare area in the Patika village of Rae municipality, which is located approximately ten kilometres south of Tallinn and a ten-minute drive away from the Tallinn airport. The town plan for this area on river Pirita includes 69 plots for detached houses. IBE Estonia has carried out the municipal engineering for the area and constructed eight detached houses. The Patika area has been sold as plots for detached houses or as homes constructed according to the customers’ individual wishes.
Pikusta
Next to Patika is located the area of Pikusta, which covers nearly 50 hectares. Approximately 250 single-family homes are planned in Pikusta. The town plan is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2011.
